The
Mill of Méjat was an authentic water mill, a typical example of the traditional
Quercynoise architecture.
Built at the XVIII century, it produced flour until
1956. From this time several owners decided anarchic transformations of the building
by destroying its level, its grinding stones. Only the name of " Mill at
the adge of Alzou, ", its reserves of water and its small stone bridges remain.
We bought it in 2001 and spent nearly six years to restore the place and warmly receive our hosts.
